Black Rock Trial Lawyers File Negligence Suit on Behalf of Gregory Gennett Against 4751 Gulf Shore Blvd., LLC, and The Terraces Condominium Association, Inc., of Naples
Tampa, FL (May 30, 2025) – Black Rock Trial Lawyers today announced the filing of a negligence lawsuit on behalf of their client, Gregory Gennett, against 4751 Gulf Shore Blvd., LLC, and The Terraces Condominium Association, Inc., of Naples. The suit, filed in the Circuit Court of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit in and for the County of Collier, Florida, seeks damages for injuries sustained by Mr. Gennett on or about March 15, 2024.
According to the complaint, Mr. Gennett, a resident of Collier County, was residing at a property owned by 4751 Gulf Shore Blvd., LLC, and managed by The Terraces Condominium Association, Inc. On the date of the incident, The Terraces was performing maintenance on the carport assigned to Mr. Gennett, utilizing a solution of water and bleach that created a highly slippery surface. The lawsuit alleges that no warnings or signs were given to Mr. Gennett regarding the hazardous condition. As a result, Mr. Gennett slipped and fell, losing consciousness and suffering significant injuries, including two broken ribs and other personal injuries.
The complaint asserts that both 4751 Gulf Shore Blvd., LLC, and The Terraces Condominium Association, Inc., were negligent in their duty to maintain a safe premises. Specifically, the suit alleges that the defendants failed to:
Exercise reasonable care to inspect the property for known dangers.
Avoid foreseeable harm.
Keep the premises in a reasonably safe condition, free of hazards such as slippery surfaces.
Warn the Plaintiff about the hazardous condition.
As a result of the defendants’ negligence, Mr. Gennett has allegedly suffered bodily injury, physical pain and suffering, disability, inconvenience, physical impairment, loss of earnings, permanent injury, and incurred medical expenses.
